Miss Greater Greer Lanie Hudson appeared on “Your Carolina” Monday to promote her platform of organ, eye and tissue donation. Donate Life/Lifepoint Volunteer Rick Hahnenberg joined Media Relations Coordinator Mark Johnson to discuss the organization.

Hudson, from Spartanburg, is the second Miss Greater Greer pageant representative in the past three years whose father played football at Clemson University. Her father, Alex Hudson, Jr., played on the 1981 National Championship team.

Bill Hudson, Lanie’s grandfather, played football at Clemson in the mid-1950s.

Abby Riggs, Miss Greater Greer Teen 2011, is the daughter of Jim Riggs (Class of 1987).
