• Tuesday's preliminary winners

Miss Greater Greer Teen was among four preliminary winners after the second night of  the Miss South Carolina and Miss South Carolina Teen competition on Wednesday at Township Auditorium in Columbia.

The pageants continue Thursday night with the final preliminary competition.  at 7 p.m. The final competition for the Teens is at 8 p.m. on Friday when the new Miss South Carolina Teen will be crowned. The final competition for the Miss contestants starts at 8 p.m. on Saturday when the new Miss South Carolina will be crowned live on WACH FOX TV along with other stations in the state.

Winners Wednesday were:

• Miss Columbia, Sarah Floyd, 22, from Hartsville, won the Talent preliminary. She performed a vocal rendition of "The Jewel Song" from Faust.

• Miss SC Fashion Week, Kendyl Pennington, 25, from Columbia, won the Evening Gown/Social Impact preliminary.

• Miss Greater Greer Teen, Livi Thomas, 17, from Fort Mill, won the Talent preliminary. She twirled batons to "Time of My Life".

• Miss Spartanburg Teen, Erika Quinn, 16, from Gaffney, won the Evening Gown/Onstage Question preliminary.

Miss South Carolina 2019 will receive a $60,000 scholarship and compete for the title of Miss America. Miss South Carolina Teen 2019 will compete for the title of Miss America’s Outstanding Teen.
