Jim Montgomery
From the Field of Performing Arts
Jim has been affiliated with the Miss America Organization for the past 17 years. As a Field Director for the Miss Georgia Organization, he is responsible for pageant administration for several pageants throughout the state. Jim is an accomplished tap and jazz dancer, having toured and performed with the Earle Davis Dance Company of Miami. He has served as choreographer and dance instructor for several teen performing arts centers. As a singer/songwriter, he has performed lead vocals and written music for the Ultimate Choice, a gospel-recording group. Jim also has several television credits, including appearing as a principal dancer at Super Bowl XXIII. A native of Miami, Fla., Jim has resided in Macon, Ga., for the past 22 years. He holds a degree in Education Administration and Supervision and is employed as a school administrator. Jim has two family members playing in the NFL.

Michael Picciarelli
From the Field of Beauty
Michael is a city boy turned country boy. Originally from Brooklyn, N.Y., he is living in rural Missouri. Michael studied at Brooklyn College while modeling with the Ford Modeling Agency. He is registered with Images Agency in St. Louis. He has acted in various theatres throughout New York City and has served as an extra in the movies New Jack City, and Up in the Air. Michael also volunteered his time as a tennis instructor at Trails End Camp in Beach Lake, Pa. Michael is a life-long pageant fan, volunteering with the Miss Missouri Pageant on the local level, and most recently was the assistant to the Executive Producer of Miss Missouri’s Outstanding Teen Pageant. He is employed as a flight attendant for Southwest Airlines. Michael is a horror movie buff, and is the author of two young adult novels awaiting publishing.

Candy Reid
From the Field of Community Service
As Miss West Virginia 1981, Candy used her Miss America scholarship earnings towards a BA in Dance Education and a Masters in Human Development and Learning from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She serves as the Executive Producer of the Miss West Virginia Scholarship Pageant annual live telecast. Candy has attended the Miss America pageant for over 30 years. She has served on the Judges Panel for state pageants in Mississippi, Georgia, Washington, Maryland, and Massachusetts and judged Miss Alabama, Deidre Downs, who became Miss America 2005. A community volunteer, she has served as a spokesperson for the March of Dimes "Healthy Baby Week", a board of director for The Arts Centre, and a community leader for United Way. As a member of the Dance Faculty at Shenandoah University, she was the tap instructor and choreographed numerous musical productions.

Charlotte Sarvis
From the Field of Fashion
Charlotte is a native South Carolinian, born in Abbeville and resides in Greenville. After graduation from Winthrop University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising, she worked as a retail buyer for 13 years while she moved around the southeast. Charlotte is a licensed Real Estate agent and has been an active agent for the last eight years. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, enjoys cooking, is an avid runner, gardener and enjoys listening to music and dancing. Charlotte is a past President of the Junior League of Greenville, where she has been a member for the last 20 years. She is the Sustaining Advisor to the Nearly New Shop, the biggest on-going fundraiser that the Junior League of Greenville has.

Katie Stoudenmire
From the Field of Communication
Katie was crowned the first Miss South Carolina Teen in 2001. She received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Studies from Furman University in 2006. She worked as an admissions counselor for Furman, recruiting undergraduate students from North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, and Tennessee. Following her time at Furman, she worked as a sales representative for the specialty technology distributor, ScanSource, Inc., before moving to Charleston to work in the Admissions Office of the Culinary and Design School at the Art Institute of Charleston. She moved to Southern Methodist University, where she is a senior admission counselor and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Higher Educational Leadership at SMU.
