Jeff Neely, Greer boys basketball coach, is hosting his 20th year, with the "Shooting for Heaven Basketball Camp."

The Shooting for Heaven basketball camp begins July 9 and ends July 26 at Greer First Baptist.

The camp is offering three weeks of instruction for girls and boys in kindergarten through 8th grade at Greer First Baptist Church.

Jeff Neely, head basketball coach at Greer High School, is directing the camp. His coaches for the camp include former and current players as well as his grown children.

The camp incorporates basketball instruction with Christian study. “We plan on teaching the kids basketball fundamentals along with focus on the Bible and Christian values,” said Neely.

Neely has been running the camp for nearly 20 nears and has seen attendance to the camp diminish. “Recently attendance has been falling maybe due to the economy but we are looking at a good number of kids this summer,” said Neely.

The fee is $75 per week.

The camp is accepting registrations. Call Neely at 787-9663, email Neely or register online or for more information here.
