NGU’s Jill B. Branyon has been elected president-elect for the state organization of Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
Branyon has been a member of this organization since 2004 and has benefited from professional development. In 2012, she received the Golden Gift Fund award, which supports members to attend the International Leadership Management Seminar to develop member leadership, communication, and management skills. She has attended state conventions, regional conferences, and international conventions and has served as chapter treasurer and chapter president.
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International promotes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education. Its vision is leading women educators and impacting education worldwide.
Branyon earned her doctorate from the University of South Carolina. She taught in Lexington and Kenya, Africa, before coming to NGU in 2002. Branyon enjoys mission work and encourages her students to consider serving as missionaries and teaching abroad in addition to holding their teaching jobs in the U.S.
