Northwood Little League, the South Carolina champions, has advanced to the semifinals of the Little League Minors Southeastern Regional baseball tournament.
Northwood rebounded with two wins in Pool Play. Northwood recorded the tournament’s only shutout when it beat Alabama, 13-0, on Sunday. Northwood beat Georgia, 8-6, on Monday.
Northwood plays Georgia at 12:45 Tuesday with the winner advancing to Wednesday’s championship game. North Carolina plays Virginia at 10 a.m., in the first semifinal Tuesday.
