Northwood Little League representing South Carolina plays Georgia at 9 a.m. Wednesday in the semifinals of the Southeast Regional at Warner Robbins, Ga. The game was scheduled for Tuesday evening but the game, which was scheduled to be aired on ESPN, was postponed because of rain.

A South Carolina win puts it in the championship game versus Virginia at 3 p.m. with the game scheduled for ESPN. Northwood and Georgia have not played each other.

A Northwood win puts it in the championship game versus Virginia. Virginia beat Northwood 12-3 last Saturday.   Northwood survived two elimination games, beating West Virginia 2-1 on Sunday and ousting Florida 5-1 on Monday.

Northwood didn’t have a hit entering its last at-bat Sunday when Gregory Bryant hit a home run to tie the game, 1-1, and Gavin Wideman smashed a two-out line drive walk-off single to score Joel Irizarry.
