Oliver Adair Brewton Sr., 88, husband of Audrey Wilkerson Brewton, went to be with the Lord May 25, 2018.
A native of Greenville County, son of the late Clyde Earl and Geneva Edwards Brewton, he was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, a retired employee of Delta Mills and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.
Surviving:
Also surviving are two sons and wives, Adair Brewton (Ann) of Greenville and Ron Brewton (Karen) of Greer; five grandchildren, Oliver Brewton (Jessica), Sarah Brewton, Mark Brewton (Cara), Bradley Brewton (Cathy) and Amanda Medlin (Marc); six great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Ray Brewton of Greer, Maurice Brewton of Greenville and Carol Brewton of LaGrange, Georgia.
Mr. Brewton was predeceased by one brother, Dan Brewton.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018 Apalache Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Butch Howard and Rev. Jerry Bryant. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 1:30-2:45 p.m. Sunday at the church.
The family is at the home of his son, Ron Brewton, 12 Lauren Leigh Court, Greer, SC 29651.Memorials may be made to Apalache Baptist Church, 1915 Gap Creek Road, Greer, SC 29651.
