Aileen Alewine Odom, 101, widow of John P. Odom, passed away on February 15, 2018.

A native of Taylors, daughter of the late George Wells and Myrtle Taylor Alewine, she was a homemaker and a member of Taylors First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two brothers, Lee Alewine and Francis (Corky) Alewine all of Taylors; one sister, Fannie Nell Madden of Taylors; two grandchildren, Abel Odom and Kaitlyn Odom Fiedler and two great-grandchildren, John Henry Odom and Graham Odom.

Mrs. Odom was predeceased by one son and one daughter-in-law, John Taylor and Mary Ann Odom, four grandchildren, Allie Odom, Mary Taylor Odom, Lacey Odom and Kirby Odom and two brothers, Ray and George Alewine.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Taylors First Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Jimmie Harley and Rev. Paul Jimenez.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Honorary escort will be the Ladies Friendship Sunday School class and supper club group.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Tuesday at Taylors First Baptist Church in the Welcome Center.

The family is at home of Lee Alewine.
