Alice (Marilyn) Cannon Asaro, 80, of 3405 Cannon Road, widow of Raymond Charles Asaro, went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2012 at her home.
A native of Charleston, daughter of the late Clarence and Mildred Bunch Cannon, she was a homemaker and a member of Choice Hills Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Robin Barnes of Greer; two brothers, Clarence Cannon of Greer and John Cannon of Hanahan; three grandchildren and their spouses, Eric and Melinda, Ryan and Jennifer, and Daniel and Heather; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Choice Hills Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Stan Craig. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Saturday at the church.
The family is at the home.
