Alice Marie Copeland Duncan, 87, widow of Thomas Edward "Ed" Duncan, passed away on November 19, 2020 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Gaines William and Clara Bell Wynn Copeland, she was a retired employee of J.P. Stevens and worked many years for H & R Block.

Mrs. Duncan was a long time member of Fairview Baptist Church and enjoyed her involvement with the Peach Patchers Quilt Guild.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Deborah "Debbie" Marie Duncan Barnes (Dennis) of Greer; one son, Tommy Duncan of Lyman; two brothers, Johnny Copeland and Freddie Copeland both of Greer; one sister, Juanita Jones of Evans, Ga; two grandchildren, Alison Howard (Jason) and Anna Hudson (Jeremy) and four great-grandchildren, Jaden Howard, Jensen Howard, Adison Howard and Brooklyn Rhodes.

Mrs. Duncan was predeceased by one brother, Joe Copeland.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 22, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Chaplain Brian Bailey and Dr. Chris Ellenburg.

Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be Jason Howard, Jaden Howard, Jensen Howard, and Mike Hudson.

Honorary escort will be the Serving Our Savior Sunday School Class of Fairview Baptist Church and the Peach Patchers Quilt Guild.

Mrs. Duncan will lie in state 12:00-7:00 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of her daughter.
