Alma Godfrey Haynes, 80, widow of Roy Esley Haynes, passed away August 24, 2020.

A native of Greer, she was a daughter of the late Belton and Ruby Leroy Godfrey and a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great great-grandmother and sister.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Roy Haynes (Wanda) of Greenville; two daughters, Linda Lark of Pickens and Margie Cox (James) of Greenville; two brothers, Jimmy Godfrey of Greer and Tommy Godfrey of Easley; four sisters, Martha Church of Travelers Rest, Sue Godfrey of Marietta, Lou Grant of Easley and Kathy Lark of Mauldin; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased one son, Randall Haynes; one daughter, Debra Shelton; and two sisters, Hazel Pittman and Brenda Cox.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 4:00 p.m. Thursday, August 27, 2020, at Greenville Memorial Gardens conducted by Rev. Allen Gosnell.

The family respectfully request that all Covid-19 social distancing guidelines be observed.

The family will be at their respective homes.
