Barbara Powell Greene, 75, died April 1, 2015 at her home.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Grady and Annie Bridwell Powell, she was a retired employee of State Auto and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Julie G. and Dean Tucker of Greer; one son and daughter-in-law, Joel E. and Carrie Greene, of Greer; two brothers, Jack Powell and Ken Powell both of Greer; one sister, Patty Sims of Dacusville; two grandchildren, Jamie Culbreath and Nicole Harris; three great-grandsons and a special friend, Doug Cox.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Howard Foster.

There will be a private interment at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer?s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011.
