Benjamin Franklin Gillikin, Jr., 86, passed away on November 4, 2018.

A native of New Bern, N.C., son of the late Benjamin Franklin Gillikin, Sr. and Anna Badham Gillikin, he was a retired employee of Argo Construction Company, a U.S. Army Veteran and of the Episcopalian faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Denise Tipton Gillikin of the home; one daughter, Joanna Gillikin McGrath of Chesapeake, VA; one sister, Anna Scott (Gary) of Winston-Salem, NC and two grandchildren, Ryan and Casey McGrath.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 7, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.

Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
