Benson McCord Howard, 66, passed away May 18, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, son of the late E.C. and Velma Wood Howard, he served in the U.S. Army National Guard, was a retired employee of G.E. and a member of Heritage Baptist Church.

Mr. Howard loved woodworking and building things.

Surviving:

Surviving are his fianc�, Cathy Cudd of the home; a son, John B. Howard (Chelsea Range Howard) of Lyman; and a sister, Donna Howard Odom (Tim).

Mr. Howard was predeceased by a brother, Gary Howard.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 20, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Crow.

Visitation will be held 12:00-1:45 p.m. Saturday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
