Bertie Mae Hayes McGinley, 85, passed away December 11, 2020.
A native of Greer, daughter of the late Coleman A. and Ola Greene Hayes, she was a retired housekeeper of a nursing home and of the Baptist Faith.
Surviving is her husband of 69 years, Donald David McGinley of the home; two sons Steven McGinley (Missy) of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, David Michael McGinley (Ann) of Weaverville, NC, one daughter Deborah Fowler (Stephen) of Greer, two sisters Martha Ann Oliver (Lenwood) of Lyman, Earline Partyka (Jerry) of Campobello, eight grandchildren Troy McGinley, Tanya Lathrop, Jamie McGinley, Laurie McGinley, David McGinley, II, Kimberley Fowler and Gregg Fowler, Jr., sixteen great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Mrs. McGinley was predeceased by one son Charles Edwin McGinley and one grandchild Tanya Maness.
Graveside services will be held Thursday December 17, 2020 at 2 PM at Mountain View Cemetery conducted by Rev, Mike Miller.
The family will be at the home of the daughter Deborah Fowler.
