Betty Lou Campbell Settle Black, 89, widow of Charles Black, passed away December 27, 2021.

A native of Spartanburg; a daughter of the late John and Ellen Plumley Campbell and last surviving member of her immediate family; she was a former employee of Springs Industries; member of Apalache Baptist Church and loved reading.

Surviving:

Surviving are one daughter, Renae Welchel and her husband, Randy of Spartanburg; and one granddaughter, Kim Pease and her husband, Sam.

She was also predeceased by her first husband, Edward Furman Settle; three brothers, Paul Campbell, Leon Campbell and J.C. Campbell and two sisters, Thelma Reynolds and Margaret Raines.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 30, 2021; at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Seth Buckley.

The family respectfully request that memorials be made to Apalache Baptist Church, 1915 Gap Creek Road, Greer, SC 29651.
