Betty "Mema" Janet Hanks Parker, 87, widow of William Carl Parker, Jr., passed away December 21, 2020.

A native of West Pelzer, she was a daughter of the late Ernest L. and Ruby Burrell Hanks and a homemaker.

Surviving:

Surviving are three daughters, Yvonne Johnson (Victor), Gwen Starnes (Gary) and Marie Sherbert (Barry Shadoan) all of Taylors; a son, Joe Dean Wood, Jr. (Deborah Williams) of Taylors; a brother, Ronald Hanks of Taylors; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Parker was predeceased by a sister, Joan Casey.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held Noon Saturday, December 26, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Tommy Harvey and Dr. Joseph D. Hooper with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com.

Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park with visitation following at the cemetery.

The family is at the home.
