Bobbie Jean Boone Verdin, 71, widow of John Steven Verdin, passed away March 11, 2018.

A native of Gaffney, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Ostie and Clara Barnett Boone, a retired security guard with Greenville Spartanburg Airport and was of the Baptist faith.

Her biological parents were the late Melvin and Viola Dye.

Surviving:

Surviving are one son, Steven Sean Verdin of Easley; two daughters, Heather Noel Verdin and Stephanie Leigh Moser both of Greenville; one brother, Jerry Dye of Gaffney; one sister, Juanita D. Owensby of Anderson; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

She was also predeceased by two brothers, Tommy Dye and Dennis Dye.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Brad Ellington.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
