Homer Carl Austin, 83, widower of Daisy Frances Galloway Austin, passed away October 13, 2018.

A native of Pelzer, he was a son of the late Homer Frederick and Ella Mae Crome Austin, a retired employee of Her Majesty and member of Airport Baptist Church.

Mr. Austin was an avid NASCAR fan.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Mike Austin (Jan) of Taylors and Randy Austin of Greenville; one brother, Larry Austin of Piedmont; one sister, Peggy Moon of Piedmont; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and special friend, Juanita Caldwell of Greer.

He was predeceased by one daughter-in-law, Linda Austin.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at their respective homes.
