Caroline Garrett Kelley, 77, wife of Rev. Donel T. Kelley, of 106 Wayland Drive, died Sunday, September 23, 2012 at the Village Hospital.
A native of Durham, NC, she was a daughter of the late David and Annie Warren Garrett, a homemaker and member of Washington Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Mark Amick of Greenwood; two sons and daughters-in-law, David and Lynn Kelley of Willow Springs, NC and Paul and Michelle Kelley of Union, SC and seven grandchildren, Kelley and Brandon Candler, Alan Amick, Anna Kelley, Jonathan Kelley, Jane Kelley, Cal Kelley, and Luke Kelley.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Washington Baptist Church, conducted by Dr. Drew Hines, Rev. Joe Price and Rev. Alex Henderson. Burial will follow in Abner Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Alan Amick, Brandon Candler, Jonathan Kelley, Cal Kelley, Frank Cox, and Brice Deal. Honorary escort will be the Joint Heirs Adult Sunday School Class of Washington Baptist Church and the Happy Hearts of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held 12:30 until 2:15 p.m. Tuesday at the church prior to the service.
The family is at home.
