Luther Carroll Brown, 93, passed away January 15, 2018.

A native of Lowell, North Carolina, son of the late Luther Isom and Mary Forrester Brown, he was a retired U.S. Air Force Veteran, a retired employee of Hoechst Celanese and of the Baptist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Jitra Saengusa Brown of the home; three daughters, Linda Kemp of Taylors, Bea Brown of Greer and Charlee Cashmir (Jim) of Columbus, North Carolina; two sons, Bill Brown of Atlanta, Georgia and Jim Brown (Vickie) of Hubert, North Carolina; a brother, A.J. Brown of Greer; a sister, Maythol Towery of Greer; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Don Powell. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Thursday at The Wood Mortuary.
