Charles Edward Powell, 82, passed away August 27, 2021, at Pelham Medical Center.

A native of Greer, he was the son of the late Grady Earl and Eunice L. Wilson Powell; a U.S. Air Force veteran; retired supervisor of J. P. Stevens, Monaghan Plant, and a member of Victor Baptist Church.

Mr. Powell was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Margaret Bradshaw Powell of the home; three daughters, Veronica Broome (Scott) of Greer, Patricia Cooper (Eric) of Duncan and Ashley Howard (Todd) of Travelers Rest; one sister, Shirley Brown (Jim) and six grandchildren, Hannah Graham, Kara Graham, Adalyn Cooper, Jenna Howard, Cole Howard and Luke Howard.

Funeral Services:

A private service will be held by the family.

Mr. Powell will lie in state, 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Monday, August 30, 2021 at The Wood Mortuary, Inc.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Victor Baptist Church, 121 New Woodruff Road, Greer, SC 29651.

The family will be at their respective homes.
