Christine Wood King Parker, 77, of 2044 Pageland Hwy., widow of Thomas C. Parker, died September 25, 2013 at Springs Memorial Hospital.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Bryson E. and Viola Smith Wood, she was a retired employee of Greenville Hospital System and a member of Lancaster Church of God Of Prophecy.

Surviving:

Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Susan King of Lancaster; one brother, Willard Wood of Greenville; one sister Ida Roddy of Lake City and two grandchildren, Matthew King and Joshua King.

Mrs. King was predeceased by her first husband, Toy King, two brothers, Ben Wood and Manly Wood, and six sisters, Louise Duncan, Edith Hamby, Mildred Edwards, Hortence Roddy, Lowell Wood and Grace Vassey.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Donnie Bell and Rev. Marie Proctor. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 12:45-1:45 p.m. Friday at Wood Mortuary.
