Claude Patrick Burgin, 84, of Greer, died September 20, 2013 at Greenville Place.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late Hicks H. and Claudia Brannon Burgin, a retired U.S. Navy veteran of WWII, Korean War, and Vietnam War and was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving:

Surviving are a son, Steven P. Burgin of Santa Monica, Ca; one sister, Mary Jane Revis of Greer; three nieces, Wanda Revis Searls of Simpsonville, Gena Swanson of Tampa, FL, and Marilyn Richardson of Taylors; one nephew, Carey Burgin of Easley; and two grandchildren, Kristin Reynolds and Madeline Nero.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Hollis and John Burgin.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly.

The family would like to thank the staff of Greenville Place and Journey Hospice for their loving care.
