Craig Seaborn Poitevint, 60, passed away January 27, 2017.

A native of Bainbridge, Georgia, son of Helen McDaniel Poitevint of Taylors and the late Seaborn Roy Poitevint, he was an educator for Greenville County School System and of the Baptist faith.

Also surviving are his wife, Martha LeVan Poitevint of the home; a son, Jonathan Poitevint (Whitney Ann) of Virginia Beach, Virginia; one daughter, Rachel Marie Burrow (Matthew Henry) of Taylors; two sisters, Teresa Kelley (Greg) of Rowlett, Texas and Karen Baisden (Lee) of Tallahassee, Florida; and seven grandchildren, Canaan Poitevint, Lena Poitevint, Taylor Poitevint, Landon Poitevint, Leona Burrow, Ali Burrow and Maggie Burrow.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Greg Kelley, Pastor Will Lohnes and Jonathan Poitevint.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home.
