Damon Neal Freeman, 54, of 109 Blazes Drive, died August 24, 2014 at his home.
A native of Kern County, California, son of the late Hershell Gene and Bette Bernice Watson Freeman, he was a retired correctional officer and a Christian.
Surviving:
Surviving are his companion, Sharon Edwards of the home; two daughters, Dalene F. Jones (Alan) of Greer and Jacqulyn F. Martinez (Roberto) of Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Blake A. Freeman (Shea) of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers, Rev. Winn Freeman (Rhonda) of Taylors and Stacy Macom of California; six grandchildren, Summer Lomax, Saige Lomax, Jade Jones, Saylor Martinez, Alex Hodge and Madison Hodge.
Funeral Services:
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by the Rev. Winn Freeman and the Rev. Sean Hamilton.
Visitation will be held 10-11 a.m. Friday at The Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Dalene and Alan Jones, 412 Ridgewood Drive, Greer, SC 29651.
