David Kimsey "Kim" Kendrick, 64, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 12, 2018.

Kim was raised in Morganton, NC, son of the late John Vance Kendrick, Jr. and Jessie Roper Kendrick.

Kim graduated from Morganton High School. He attended Western Piedmont Community College.

Kim and Susan his wife have lived in Greenville, SC for over 25 plus years and consider Greenville their home.

Kim enjoyed helping people through his career in Financial Services for over 22 years and the last 17 years have been spent as a Mortgage Broker with County Bank Mortgage.

Although Kim was dedicated to his work, he managed to make time for his family and friends. He enjoyed golf, boating, fishing and the beach.

He was a loyal friend, devoted husband and father. He will be tremendously missed by those whose lives he touched.

Surviving:

Kim is survived by his wife, Susan Marshall Kendrick; daughter, Krissy Kendrick; son, Curtis Kendrick of Simpsonville, SC; one brother, Johnny Kendrick and one sister, Kathy Davila, both of Morganton, NC.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Dr. Ralph Carter.

Entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Curtis Kendrick, John John Kendrick, Jordan Kendrick, Kevin Kendrick, Jake Pyhala and Tee Rampey.

Visitation will be held 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.
