A native of Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, son of David Whalen and Shannon Fayette McLeod of Greer, he was an employee of Meyer Tool.

Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Mary King of Greer; two brothers, Brett McLeod of Warren, Michigan and Jonathan Halliwill of Greer; three sisters, Racheal Whalen of Greer, Layla McLeod of Warren, Michigan and Sarah Halliwill of Greer; aunts, Janie Stevens (Dave) and Rebecca Lisznyai (David); uncle, Larry Benavides; cousins, Alexus Eicher and Skye Eicher; and best friend, Jacob.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Pastor Don Wheeler.

Visitation will be held 10:00-11:15 a.m. Wednesday at The Wood Mortuary.
