David Stephen "Steve" Davis passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 21, 2020 at the age of 72.

Steve was born in 1948 to David Varias and Maudie Pearl Rogers Davis in Greer, South Carolina.

He graduated from Greer High School and Clemson University. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a retired engineer for Michelin and a member of Memorial United Methodist Church.

Surviving:

Steve is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Judy Dianne Hawkins Davis; his two daughters, Heather Pacheco-Davis (Salvador) of Greer, SC and Stephanie Straub (Michael) of Lexington, SC; and brother, Joseph "Mike" Davis (Diane) of Sedona, Arizona.

He is also known as "Pop" and admired by his five loving grandchildren, Jonathan "Ashton" Hanna, Caleb Pacheco-Davis, Harper Straub, Davis Straub and Bohdon "Bo" Straub; and niece, Desire�.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 24, 2020 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Thomas Lovell with webcasting available at www.thewoodmortuary.com.

Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery with visitation following keeping in mind social distancing guidelines.

The family is at their respective homes.
