Della Sudduth Padgett, 79, of Oakleaf Village, 1560 Thornblade Blvd. Greer, SC died on January 8, 2015 at her home where she had lived for the past twelve years.

Born February 13, 1935 to the late John H. Sudduth and Ida Mae Syracuse Sudduth, she retired from St. Francis Hospital as the Director of Laboratory Services after 36 years of service and was a member of McCarter Presbyterian Church where she was an elder.

Surviving:

She is survived by her beloved dog, Teacup.

Della was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Charles N. (Chuck) Padgett and her brother, John Herman Sudduth, Jr.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at McCarter Presbyterian Church, 2:00 p.m. on January 12, 2015.

Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park, Gap Creek Road in Duncan, S.C.

Visitation will be held in the church from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
