D.L. "Billy" Honeycutt, 79, widower of Rebekah Jean Elrod Honeycutt, passed away March 23, 2018.
A native of Roan Mountain, Tennessee, son of the late David and Martha Hill Honeycutt, he was a graduate of Cloudland High School and Greenville Tech, a retired employee of Oconee Nuclear Station and a member of Apalache Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Lisa Davis (Jeff) of Greenwood and Missy Honeycutt of the home; and four grandchildren, Emily Ashtin Davis, Andrew Paul Davis, Addison Elizabeth Davis and Alex Jeffery Davis.
Mr. Honeycutt was predeceased by two brothers, Luther Honeycutt and Cecil Honeycutt and a sister, Lee Stanley.
Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Steve Durham. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary.
