Doris Langston "Mama Dot" Davis, 92, formerly of Praise Village, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2012.
A native of Laurens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Nathan Lee and Mattie Adair Langston and a faithful member of Praise Cathedral.
Surviving:
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Clyde N. "Woody" Davis, Jr. and Rose Davis of Waxhaw, NC; a sister, Omega L. Poole of Greer, SC; two sisters-in-law, Mildred Langston of Greenville and Margie Davis of Holly Springs; three grandchildren and their spouses, Norwood Davis, III and Aerah Davis, Lee and Karen Davis and Joel and Aimee Davis; ten great-grandchildren, Julia, Preston, Allie, Colin, Tatum, Brandon, Jay, Wyatt, Austin, and Kalyn Rose and many loving nephews, nieces, and cousins.
She was predeceased by a brother, Leroy Langston and three sisters, Ellen Shirer, Nita L. Sheets, and Pauline Langston.
Funeral Services:
Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Praise Cathedral, conducted by Rev. Jerry Madden. Burial will follow in Springwood Cemetery, Greenville, SC.
Visitation will be held 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Thursday at the church.
