Doris Smith Stephens, 96, of 1014 Robinson Road, Greer, S.C., widow of L. A. Stephens, passed away January 23, 2014, at Graham Health & Rehab.

She was a daughter of the late Dewitt and Ione Smith.

Ms. Stephens was a lifelong member of Woods Chapel Methodist Church and served on numerous committees and a retired employee of Spartan Express.

Surviving:

She is survived by a son, Mike Stephens and his wife Donna of Robbinsville, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Harriett Stephens Grace of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; six grandchildren; Jeff Stephens, Scott Stephens, Angie Camp, Kevin Stephens, Jenny Arndt, and Josh Stephens; seven great-grandchildren, Lake, Katie, Kelsey, Jordan, Ella, Cabe and Campbell; one brother, Morris Smith of Duncan and one sister, Martha Hayes of Duncan.

She was predeceased by a son, David.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Davon Harrelson and Rev. Richard McAllister. Burial will follow at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 1:30 - 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church Sunday.

The family is at the home.

Pallbearers will be Jeff, Scott, Kevin, Josh and Lake Stephens, and Andrew Camp.
