Dorothy "Dot" Mae Hughes Weathers, 76, widow of Charles Edward Weathers, Sr., died August 6, 2016 at her home.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late Zeb Dee and Eloise Bridwell Hughes, a retired employee of National Cabinet Locks, and a member of Pelham First Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two grandchildren, "C.L." Weathers and Nick Cox; one great-grandchild, Addalyn Cox; a daughter-in-law, Reba Weathers of the home; a brother, Ronald Hughes of Greer; and a sister, Doris Hughes of Greer.

She was also predeceased by a son, Charles Edward Weathers, Jr., a brother, Donald Hughes and a sister, Joyce Belcher.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at The Wood Mortuary. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens Mausoleum.

Honorary escort will be the Golden Circle Sunday School Class.

Visitation will be held 2:30 until 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at The Wood Mortuary prior to the service.

The family is at the home.
