Dorothy Inez Brown "Ma Dot" Underwood, loving mother and grandmother, 91, widow of Lindsey Henry Underwood, passed away on November 29, 2017.

A native of Greenville County, daughter of the late Nelson and Effie Jones Brown, she was a member of Greer Church of God.

Surviving:

Surviving are two sons, Broadus Lindsey Underwood (Ann) of Cross Hill and Wayne Underwood (Geraldine) of Campobello; one daughter, Teresa Campbell Watts of Greer; nine grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Underwood was predeceased by one daughter and son-in-law, Charlene Underwood and Buddy Cole; two brothers, Malcolm Jones and George Brown and two sisters, Betty Jean Ross and Willie Mae Avery.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Bobby Duncan and Rev. Tommy Brown.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary.

The family is at the home of Wayne Underwood.
