Dorothy "Dot" Raines Alexander, 84, widow of Thomas "Dub" W. Alexander, died October 11, 2013.

A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late William and Nora Seay Raines, a homemaker and a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Sara A. Medlock (Garry) of Inman; a son, Thomas "Neal" Alexander (Sharon) of Lyman; three grandchildren, Renae Bussell, Tommy Alexander and Tara Bird; and eight great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a grandson, Timothy Dover and one great grandchild.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at The Wood Mortuary, 4 p.m. Sunday conducted by Dr. Tim Clark and Rev. Steve Durham.

Burial will immediately follow at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be held 2:30-3:45 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be Garry Medlock, Tommy Bussell, Brandon Dover, Tommy Alexander, Wayne Alexander and Jeff Raines.
