Douglas T. Fowler, loving husband of Jewell Burgess Fowler entered his eternal life with the Lord on December 6, 2018. He was the son of the late Thomas G. and Doris Eubanks Fowler.

Douglas was a textile machinery specialist, former owner of Fowler Electric Motor Repair and retiree of Hoechst Celanese.

He was a dedicated member, deacon and usher of Southside Baptist Church in Greer, SC.

He was always a friend to those in need, and was blessed to have been able to help others.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife that he loved so deeply, Jewell Burgess Fowler, and his four devoted sons, Tommy Fowler (Cindy), Dean Fowler, (Tammy), Gene Fowler (Jane) and Randy Fowler (Katie); eleven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Charlotte Franklin (Ray) and a brother, Theron "Gill" Fowler (Judy).

He was also predeceased by grandparents, Doris E. Virginia Ammons Fowler, Walter/Ollie Honeycutt Eubanks and a sister, Miriam Hicks.

Funeral Services:

Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2018 at The Wood Mortuary.

The service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. conducted by Rev. Odell Moseley, Rev. David Cobb and Rev. Todd Johnson. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.

The Volunteer Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.

Pallbearers will be Chris Durrah, Travis Summey, Chris Forrester, Dylan Boyd, Dustin Miller and Keith Rainey.

The family is at the home.
