Esta Jerome "E.J." Gregg, 97, formerly of Lyman, widower of Thelma Newton Gregg, died April 26, 2014 at the Woodruff Manor.

A native of Greenville County, he was a son of the late William P. and Ola Finch Gregg, a retired textile employee and a member of Jackson Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Kay G. Elder (James) of Pauline; three grandchildren, Donna, Ron and Ray and three great-grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by two brothers, J.C. and Audrey Gregg and two sisters, Adelle Gregg and Margie Pearson.

Funeral Services:

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Wood Memorial Park. Visitation will follow the service at the gravesite.

The family is at the home of his daughter.
