Clyde Edward (Ed) Walker, 74, of 2 Dolerite Drive, passed away on February 17, 2013 at home.

A native of Greer (Pleasant Grove Community), son of the late Thomas Lindsey and Josie Boyter Walker, he was a Greer High School Graduate Class of 1956 and attended Holmes Bible College, retired from Fiber Industries/Celanese, and a retired licensed home builder.�

Mr. Walker was a member of Praise Cathedral Church of God and S.C. Koi and Water Garden Associates.

Surviving:

Surviving is his wife, Judith (Judy) Taylor Walker of the home; one daughter LouAnn Walker of Taylors; one brother, Ollie Walker (Linda) of Moore; two sisters, Mary Brown (Jimmy) and Margie Smith (Ronnie) all of Greer; two grandchildren, Walker Smith and Lydia Smith and a brother-in-law, Johnny Stroud of Greer.

Mr. Walker was predeceased by a sister Betty Stroud.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Praise Cathedral conducted by Pastor Jerry Madden.

Private burial will be in Wood Memorial Park.

Honorary escort will be the Greer High School Class of 1956 and Byrnes High School Class of 1957.

Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 p.m. Tuesday at Praise Cathedral.
The family is at the home.
