Edward Lee Polen, 70, widower of Kathryn Greathouse Polen, passed away March 25, 2017 at his home.

A native of New Eagle, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Wayne Johnson Polen and Nellie Mae Bedford Polen, a former Truck Driver, an active member of the S.C. State Guard, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and a member of Trinity Bible Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Kim Gooding (Tim) of Taylors and Robin Polen of the home; one son, John Polen (Rachel) of Pickens; two sisters, Linda Green (Danny) of Greenville and Ardith Wier (Jim) of Avella, Pennsylvania and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Trinity Bible Church, conducted by Dr. Greg Mazak.

Burial will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

The family is at their respective homes.
