Eleanor Pearson Spelts, 85, of 400 Leona Court, formerly of 1289 Duncan Reidville Road, Duncan, widow of Belton Spelts, died November 23, 2012 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late W.G. and Annie Powers Pearson, she was a retired employee of Monsanto and a member of Abner Creek Baptist Church.
Mrs. Spelts was predeceased by a son, James Melton Spelts and two sisters, Hazel Plemmons and Helen Deyoung.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Abner Creek Baptist Church cemetery conducted by Rev. Donel Kelley and Rev. Carroll Plemmons.
Visitation will be held after the service at the gravesite.
The family is at the home of a nephew, Rev. William Plemmons.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Abner Creek Baptist Church Building Fund, 2461 Abner Creek Road, Greer, S.C. 29651.
