Elizabeth (Betty) O?Shields Knight, age 91, passed away peacefully at White Oak Manor of Spartanburg on July 24, 2015.

She was the widow of the late James Wendell Knight and daughter of the late William Clyde O?Shields and Ruth Cannon O?Shields of Tucapau, S.C.

She was a graduate of WLT High School and Spartanburg Methodist College.

Mrs. Knight was employed at Startex Mills Office until entering the U.S. Naval Service (Waves) serving from 1943-1944.

She was predeceased by one sister and one brother. She was a member of Lyman First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School before declining health.

Surviving:

She is survived by a daughter and a son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services:

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Wood Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Dr. Edward Warren and the staff of Unit 3 at White Oak Manor for their care and kindness to our loved one.
