Elizabeth (Lib) Pruitt Cox, 84, beloved wife of James (Jim) Oscar Cox, passed away peacefully and went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 25, 2015.

Born in Campobello on May 31, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Emily Hall Pruitt and sister of the late David Allan Pruitt.

Mrs. Cox was a member of Victor Baptist Church.

She retired from Belk Simpson as Department Head after 15 years of service.

Surviving:

Elizabeth is survived by her loving husband, James (Jim) Oscar Cox of sixty years of the home; son, Anthony (Tony) Cox and wife, Lisa of Hickory, NC, son, Daniel (Danny) Cox and wife Betsy of Kenton County, KY; four granddaughters, Emilee Cox of Atlanta, GA, Hannah Cox of Greenville, SC, Rachel and Laura Cox of Kenton County, KY; one niece, Nancy Cox and three nephews, David Pruitt, Dean Pruitt and Steven Cox.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Victor Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Ken Vickery.

Burial to follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Honorary escort will be the Sonshine Sunday School class of Victor Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 9:30-10:45 a.m. at Victor Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victor Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 1147, Greer, SC 29652.
