Elsie Louise Seay Wolfe, 96, formerly of 302 Pennsylvania Ave., died December 16, 2016 at Brookdale Skylyn, Spartanburg. She was the widow of Walter Dock Wolfe who died in 1972.

Native of Spartanburg County, she was the daughter of the late James Arthur "Ott" Seay and Sallie Ann Seay Seay.

Mrs. Wolfe graduated from Holly Springs High School and North Greenville Junior College. She was also a housemother there.

Elsie owned and operated her own beauty shop. She was a loving, caring lady loved by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Surviving:

Surviving are her nieces, Lorene (Joel) Fisher (her caregivers), Camille (Paul) Bishop, Elaine Brown; nephew, Kenneth Brown; great-nieces, Lori Smith, Alicia Piggins, Rhonda Thompson, Carly Brown, Amy Throop and Jennifer Johnson; great-great niece, Jessica Phillips and others; great-great-nephew, Mason Piggins, the apple of her eye; sister-in-law, Ruth Wolfe; and special friends, Linda Gordon, Andy and Lois West, and Robin Runion Allen.

Funeral Services:

She was a member of El Bethel Baptist Church. Her pastor, Rev. Joe Seay will officiate her service with Dr. Mike Runion assisting at The Wood Mortuary on Monday, December 19, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.

Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Friends will meet before the service on Monday at The Wood Mortuary from 1:00-1:45 p.m.
