Emilou Woods Rich, age 90, passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. She and her late husband, Wayne Lawrence Rich, were married for 62 years.

Born in Laurens County, the daughter of Frank and Pearl Tinsley Woods, she had three brothers David, Bill, and Wallace.

Emilou was a loving mother and assisted her husband as a decorator in their custom home construction business. She enjoyed music and played the piano at home and in church.

She was a 1941 graduate of Dacusville High School. In 1967 Wayne and Emilou moved back to the Dacusville Community where they were members of the Nine Forks Baptist Church and where she served in various capacities.

Surviving:

Surviving, are her brother, Bill, her son, the Rev. Doctor Ronald R. Rich and his wife Barbara and three grandchildren: Darby Wayne Jennifer), Matthew Stanley ?Matt? (Stacie) and Ginger Lou Rich Greer (Todd) and seven great-grandchildren Richard Scott ?Rich? Harbison, Lawrence Owens Rich, Andrew Jacob Greer, Anna Elizabeth Greer, Carson Ronald Rich, Caris Michelle Rich, and Case Gibson Rich.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held Sunday, September 22 at 3:00 P.M. at the Nine Forks Baptist Church with visitation to follow in the Family Life Center.

Sincere appreciation is offered to the staff of the Willows in Easley, Greenville Place Memory Care and Rolling Green Village in Greenville, and Regency Hospice for their loving care during her declining health.
