Vangie Lynch Mayes, 72, widow of Henry Homer Mayes, passed away September 22, 2017 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Oscar Manning Lynch and Kathleen Williams Lynch and member of Fairforest Church of God.

Surviving:

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Painter (Tracy) and Melanie Mayes both of Boiling Springs; three sisters, Jenny Powell, Judy Pearson and Sandy Bridwell and three grandchildren, Michael Green (Mallory), Adam Painter and Caleb Painter.

She was also predeceased by two sisters, Lou Humphries and Beed Horton and two brothers, Ed and Cliff Lynch.

Funeral Services:

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at The Wood Mortuary, conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly.

The family is at the home of the daughter, Janet Painter, 175 Crosssgate Drive, Boiling Springs, SC 29316.
