Farida "Monkey" Polson Leonard, 77, wife of the late Gerald "Beanpole" Leonard, went home to be with the Lord and her husband on Friday, September 30, 2016.

Mrs. Leonard was born in Chesterfield County, daughter of the late Robert and Alice Terry Polson.

She was retired after 40 years from State Auto Insurance Co. and was a member of His Vineyard.

Surviving:

Surviving are a daughter, Tammy Black (Dwayne) of Greer; a sister, Carolyn Waddell of Greer; one granddaughter, Ashley Curlee of Simpsonville and two great grandsons, Aiden and Dawson Ingram.

Funeral Services:

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, October 3, 2016 at His Vineyard conducted by Rev. Keith Kelly.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday prior to the service at the church from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. on Monday.
