Floyd Brown, 86, passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

A native of Greer, he was a son of the late Arden and Inez Lyda Brown; a retired U.S. Navy veteran, serving in both Korea and Vietnam and member of Locust Hill Baptist Church.

Surviving:

Surviving are his wife, Doris Bradley Brown, of the home; two sons, Alan Brown (Marla) and Fred Brown (Linda), both of Taylors; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Martha Hammond; a daughter, Peggy Lemmons; a brother, Bill Brown and two sisters, Cherry Medford and Doris Brown.

Funeral Services:

A graveside memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Locust Hill Baptist Church cemetery, conducted by Rev. Stephen Cannon and Rev. Deon Louw, with military rites.

The family will greet friends after the service in the church.
