Frances Carroll Clayton, 87, of 103 North Beverly Lane, died December 2, 2012 at Cascades Verdae.
A native of Cherokee County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas Carroll and Rosa Nance Carroll. She was a member of Lyman Wesleyan Church and a homemaker.
Surviving are a son Steve Clayton and his wife Sandra of Simpsonville, a daughter Jan Lawter and her husband Mark of Greer, 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband, Barney L. Clayton, 2 brothers and 5 sisters.
Graveside services will at 4:00 PM December 4, 2012 at Hillcrest Memory Gardens.
The family is at the home of the daughter Jan Lawter, 203 Carolina Ave. Greer.
Visitation will be Monday December 3, 2012 from 6:00 PM TO 8:00PM at The Wood Mortuary.
